I would like to speak to some of them regarding some work for my VEPR.  It's complicated and involves removal of the front sight base, removoval of the barrel, threading the barrel and replacing the front site base slightly farther back.

I don't even know if it can be done, but I'd love to be able to have it threaded correctly so I can use a suppressor.

Thanks.

Troy from InRange in TN. Supposed to be one of the best. Also Mario from Piece of History Firearms.

Ted Marshall, Troy Sellers, Chris Butler there are plenty of others but those are some off the top of my head.  Honestly doesn't sound like you have nearly as complicated job as you think.  Any competent machinist with firearms knowledge could do it.

Jim Fuller and Dan Jaquish over at Rifle Dynamics are probably the  best AK mechanics in the country.
