Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which direction when removing barrel pin?

Which direction do you press the barrel pin out of the trunnion?  If you are looking from the rear sight base to the front sight base, is it left to right or right to left?

I really don't think it matters.  I've removed them from both directions.

I too don't think it really matters 95% of the time....

but i always look for a small ring or small "point" mark on the pin, I figure this is the side it was pushed from...
