Any difference  in the different ones out. Tapco? REd Star? Other? Thanks.

The all count as 1 US part  ... They all help my AK's go 'bang'.  I have Tapco, KVAR, Redstar, & my latest is from a guy on gunco (redchevy). (Probably the nicest yet)

I agree with Travis on this..........I've built with Tapco mostly but have used Midwest (?) and K-Var's Armory "matchgrade" and they all produce the same effect.............bangbangbangbangbang.........

The one you can get cheapest.  For som reason the TAPCO one went way up in price.

I bet that K-Var "matchgrade" piston makes an AK more accurate
