Which Flat would be best to use for a (Izhevsk factory) Russian AK under folder parks gun? I see Polish and Hungarian, etc Just want the build to go smoothly as possible and I don't see anything on Russian parts kits.

IF you found one, it would cost an arm and a leg; if you want a Russian underfolder, you'd have to buy a VEPR or Saiga and mod it to take the underfolder.

No.

OP's best bet is to use a Hungarian pattern receiver with Hungarian underfolder stock with his Russian parts kit, assuming he's wanting a a Soviet AKMS clone. Apparently, the Hungarian stock is "more correct," as is the milled-type Polish trunnion, which is hard to find. Given the recent influx of Hungarian parts and their low cost, I'd go that route.

Assuming he's starting with a Russian kit, it would behoove him to not settle on a flat.

Contact AK Builder and ask for a recommendation.
