Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Where to purchase good Mosin Nagant Stripper Clips?

I need some stripper clips for the Mosin Nagant.  I have seen the steel ones for sale at Tapco.  I will order some.  But I would also like to obtain some authentic "mil-spec" Russian or Eastern European stripper clips as well.  Hell I'll take Chinese ones as long as they aren't generic.   I'm a cheapskate so surplus prices only (thanks).

Also do any of you have experience using them? I think I recall some negative experience by Campy with a VKT (I think) which is what I have.

Stick with the steel.  The brass clips will break on  you soon enough.

wasn't me, i never fell for the tokarev.

tapco's strippers are ok, but the sharp edges will cut the hell out of you unless you de-burr themm. after deburr, they are perfect.

as ober said, the steel ones will last you forever.

if you are in the market, just buy a case or two of ammo on strippers and you are set for life.
