You are sure this is a genuine SVD, not a:

ROMAK
FPK
TIGR
NDM-86

???

Of the above, the 'TIGR' is the closest to a real SVD... The ROMAK, FPK, or 'Romanian Dragunov' is not even close, just an AK in 7.62x54... And the NDM-86 is a chinese SVD knockoff in .308

Don't know about TIGR, but the others are worth ~$600-750

It's the real deal. It is just like this setup. Same box, rifle and all. The guy has 2 of them, one has no import stamp and the other is the NIB rifle like the one in the pic. Imported by KBI or something like that.
It seems like CDNN had these for sale many years ago. Only 100 or so were imported.

ETA pics belong to pmbss396

Let me know when you find some of those NDM's @ $600-$750. I'll take 10 at that price.

I can't believe how much uninformed B.S. is in this thread. The following:

Quoted:
Not less than $5000.

Is good advice. But most of the other stuff is useless.

A real Russian SVD is going to be $5000 to $6000.

A 7.62x54R NDM-86 is the CLOSEST THING to a Russian SVD - more correct than most Tiger carbines out there. This rifle is worth $2400.

The .308 NDM-86 is worth about $1600.

If it is not an SVD, an NDM-86 or a Tiger, it is not a Dragunov, just an overblown AK.

Last Russian "SVD" I saw sold for about $7k.. It was one of the KBI imports...

Actually what I find funny is the the magical KBI imports are actually sold by the factory as a "Tiger premium".. Thats basically all they are.. They are not real Military SVDs, but rather Tigers with a longer barrel and other SVD parts.

Regardless, a well built PSL is worth $700 in my opinion, I've shot one and saw the groups.

So mad about running these REAL SVD's over in Iraq.

Seriously wanted to tempt going to jail.....

And also for a Tabuk underfolder AK..........

Worse part about Iraq other than the IED's....

destroying these weapons that Iraqi's take for granted. I take AR's for granted daily at work though too. So.......

It is funny I just talked about this in another post, KBI lost money on the SVDs they imported. I talked to the person who imported them at the Houston NRA show last year.
I bought mine about a year ago got it for a REAL low price, it was part of an estate sale at a gun store. I think they were distracted by the PSG1 they just sold from the same estate.
