Romanians will be $234.78, Bulgys will be $432.56, and Krinks will be $756.07.
All will be traded on the NYSE and CBOT as futures starting in Janruary.

The new, never before seen Mexican Ak kits will be $129.95.

I hope i guessed right!

Mexican AK kits ! Now THAT is where we could reap the ONLY benefit of having an unsecured border .

Cheaper than dirt has some Yugoslavian M70 milled AKs for 139$.... I really want to get one.....

They might get that high put anyone that pays that is insane. You can buy complete rifles for a few dollors more, and I mean a few dollors

Shh...anyone who pays 300$ for a Rommy Kit is a smart buyer !

As long as you can still buy a WASR for $350 or a SLR-105 for $500, I don't see kit prices going anywhere fast.

$150 for a Romy kit, maybe.

We'll see US made barrels within a year.

I bought a single milled Yugo to study. There are slight differences in the FSB and it's got a vented gas tube with an un-vented gas block, like an AK-47.

It will probably never be built, though. I've been priced out of the milled receiver market, and I doubt anyone will put out a Yugo-style milled receiver (lightening cuts on only one side) anyway. Pity, since it's got a better barrel than any of my stamped kits.

I'm thinking about mounting the pieces on a board to hang on the wall of my "cave".

If he waits a couple years, maybe I can sell a few kits to fund one.

Very nice kit, Templar.

Speaking of kit prices, I just saw a post on another site by CFS. They want $200 each for a small batch of used AMD-65 kits. (Typical CFS ad, too, without details as to condition, matching numbers or not, etc. )

I'll bet there's a lot of guys out there with near-new AMD-65 kits that they paid $80 for 6 months ago.

Nope, it's in a box in my apartment.

I actually traded Josh Newton for this one, I had a M70 milled kit that he took in trade. The barrel is a sewer pipe, but I have a spare barrel for it that's in excellent shape. Josh ordered another milled kit from Centerfire and they sent him a pristine M64 kit.....that guy has all the luck.

It's beeeautiful....

When are you going to build it?

Crap Romanian kits?

Where's that come from? These Romy kits are beautiful.
A couple of the kits I got were unfired, and the others were 95%-98%

These are the nicest kits that have been available for quite awhile.

I think he just meant romanian in general. I just got two kits, and while they are in excellent shape, they both have canted blocks to some degree.

I guess Romanians will be $130-140. Every vendor and their uncle has these in stock now for $100-110. Everyone is buyign these to try and make a quick buck instead of buildign them, so value wont jump as much.

The polish Tantal might go up pretty good because its a 5.45 caliber, and I guess less of those than the underfolders. I guess $300 for a grade 2 with all the accs. Most of these will probably get built instead of people stashign them.

Underfolders will probably be $290-300 with all accs for the grade2s

Bulgy 74s I have no clue.

Yugos probably about the same $150 for underfolder/fixed stock if it has a good barrel. Yugo Krinks I would say $600 max as the old price of $480 they didnt sell worth shit.

Well i got a few to basically pick the best of the lot and sell the rest. Whether or not i build that one is another question as well. But you're right, these things are selling like crazy, there has to just be tons of them in the market.

Nice kits of anything are going to get a premium in the market. Look at how the prices have raised in the last few months. I can see Romy's going for around $199 and that isn't too bad consider you need another $100-$125 to complete one. Still viable and for some home builders they get away cheaper with a flat or bent blank.

Anything 5.45 will be pricey.

Lord knows we've seen plenty of Romanian SAR's with canted blocks, but I have not seen any true Romanian AKs with this problem.

Anybody else seen a de-mil with canted RSB, FSB or GB?

Believe it or not, the Polish Tantal I'm working on now has a canted FSB.

That's OK with me. I wasn't planning on shooting it in the Nationals.

My 1980 kit doesn't have that problem.

Both of mine are from 86. One has the FSB canted all to hell, and the other isnt as bad, but the rear sight block looks a bit off as well. Dunno, but neither are as straight as my SAR, which coincidentally is perfectly straight. Even my bulgarian 74 build had some slight cant of the gas block and FSB (from bulgaria, not the builder).

Where did you get yours from?

akparts.com

One was in mint condidtion, the wood was very very nice. The other had a decent amount of dings and dents, but the metal and actual parts were as good as the other one. They just both have a little cant. The front post on the one is even moved way over from when whoever sighted it in.
