Pardon my ignorance as I'm still collecting information on AKs, but there are two Poly Chinese AKs on the EE. Why does one sell for double the price? What characteristics determine the values for that type of AK.
Thanks

Post the links and we'll know which two you are talking about.

The first one is an "SP", which is a PolyTech which was caught in customs during the implementation of the 1989 import ban, so it is not a true "pre-ban", and has had the folding bayonet lug chopped off, and has had compliance parts installed so that the thumhole stock could be replaced with a standard grip/buttstock.

OK,the top one is a post ban MAK 90 that has been made 922 compliant.

The second one is a pre-ban Chinese AK with under folding bayonet, this one does not require the use of any US parts. Also, the FSB and folding bayo are worth about 200.00 by themselves.

Thank you both. I'm still trying to understand the features and I want to make sure I don't pass up a good deal if I see one at a show.
