What's a trunion/trunion block?  Are these the same things?

I don't know for sure how everyone goes about this after reading descriptions on the 'net. (ya know?)

To me, the trunnion is the Barrel Trunion.(different sizes for different bbl.s from different countries of origin...)

The trunnion block being the Rear Trunion.(same as above except some are made for side-swivels, side-folding/underfolding stocks...)

Lot's of variables within the mix, for speciics try the Build Your Own forum, or check with Global Trades or K-var.
