Yes, but look at the avant garde use of the vertical foregrip.  Very progressive.

Well, at least it would be a a better prop then what they did to the Mini 14's in Starship Troopers.....

Hey now, i liked the mega-overkill 14 in starship troopers. they had unlimited capacity mags!

Actually the first guns the baddies use in the assination attempt on Allan Quatermain were Mac's or maybe Uzi's. Same riveted box receiver with a vertical mag in the pistol grip and an Uzi wooden buttstock. Later in the movie the box type AK's were used.

I was thinking these might be something kinda' fun to build up with a kit.
