Asking this for a friend.  Recently picked up an AK and needs to get some ammo for it, probably just some Wolf shit.  What weight is ideal for plinking/range use?

What twist rate do most AKs have?

It does not matter. If you are not aiming then shoot whatever. Just make sure that if you shoot corrosive (Yugoslavian, East German, some types of Chinese, Hungarian, etc) that you completely clean your gun afterwords.

assuming 7.62x39, it'll be 120-125gr, but anything from 110-154 shoots well for most
