[ARCHIVED THREAD] - What happened to Uly ammo? Or Cheetah?

I've been wanting to try the Cheetah stuff for awile am I'm surprised that with the shortage of Russian made ammo that we're not seeing more of it around. I wish SG would stock it.

Also, you used to be able to get Uly ammo in the spam can just about everywhere. Where did it go?

The Cheetah stuff comes from Zimbabwe. Regardless of the wisdom of supporting a lunatic government, I believe sanctions are in place which prevent them from shipping us anything but scary news reports and refugees.

Vector Arms was sole importer for the Cheetah. when I ordered my AK from them in July, they said they were sold out and not getting anymore.

Ah, I see. I knew Cheetah came from Africa, but didn't know where.

Uly came in a 20 round white box with blue stripes and text. I don't have any pics.

I'd love to help you out with that one, but I honestly don't remember what the full name was. "Ulynoski" or something along those lines. Was a different Russian ammo maker.
