I'd like something that looks more authentic rather than putting a Magpul or US Palm grip on it.  It's an IO Inc/Pioneer Arms 7.62.

What would you do?

How about a laminated wood pistol grip?

Get an iron wood laminate and stain it to match the rest. It will look great and maintain the 922 parts count.

A Romanian reddish pistol grip or a Tula plum would look good

Not sure why some consider changing a part to be "upgrading".

What is it about the original pistol grip profile that you don't like?

I switched to Polish PKM pistol grips because it is a little fatter and I have big hands, but it is the same profile.

If you don't have a problem with the original profile, and just need a US part, TAPCO has an orange/brown grip that would go well with your wood color.

If you don't need it for a US part, there are plenty of Romy red/brown bakelite grips that will match nicely.

Or as mentioned above, stain an IWD laminate.
