mine is a Glock 26 9mm subcompact pistol, a ithaca 12 gauge shotgun pump action, a chinese sks, and here pretty soon, i will be adding a cheap AK47 to the family..

what do yalls arsenals consist of... i know yall got me out armed but hell, i am building mine slowly... i am poor. LOL

a quick ? for you all... just because an AK47 is cheap, that doesnt mean that it isnt durable and can fire in rough conditions does it?

99.9 percent of AKs are more reliable than 99.9 percent of all other firearms out there. Specificly, it depends on the model, there are fineky AKs just as there are fineky_________(fill in the blank). However, the general rule of thumb is that AK's regardless of model or cost can be counted on to go bang in conditions that would kill other rifles. If i had the choice i would avoid the WASR models, both single and double stack. You can easily obtain an extremely reliable AK for less than 500 bucks.

I had a fine collection of mostly C&Rs (somewhere between 5 and 20, I forget), a FAL, 4 complete AKs and 2 kits. That was before the terrible boat accident. Now, all I have is a simple 10/22 and a CZ-70, my carry gun.

For some strange reason I define my arsenal by how many rounds I have stashed for my boomsticks. I think that the best rifle can easily be rendered useless real quick unless one has a ready, immediate supply of almost limitless amounts of ammunition for it.

I'd say the entire lower floor shelfspace in my pantry (cool & dark place ) is occupied by cases and cans of new and good surplus 5.56mm, 7.62x51, and 7.62x39 and some pistol ammunition.
Working on gathering up some 8mm, 30-06, 7.62x54R, .50BMG, .303, for guns I "might " have...

i also have a Remington 511. Cheaper Than Dirt was selling mags for them
10/22 - Single-Six .22/22mag
SKS - AK - Rem. 870 12ga.

i prefer the SKS over the AK because it's more accurate, has a last shot hold-open and i can carry 240 rds. in a com-bloc chest pouch. And i can load rounds from strippers into the SK pretty quickly

Well, before my accident, as mentioned in my previous post, I had a few. Let me see if I can remember them all.

Mosin Nagant 91/59
Italian Carcano Carbine
Japanese Type 99, 38, and I
Russian SKS 1952 dated
M1 Garand
MAS 49/56 rechambered to 7.62 NATO
Inch Pattern FAL
MAK-90
Pre-ban Polytech Double Folder
Enfields--2 No. 1 Mk 3, 1 No. 4 Mk 1
Maadi--Misr and RML
RC K98
Turk M38 Mauser
Romanian M69 training .22
Rem 870 Super Mag
CZ-70
Hi-Point 9mm Carbine
Ruger 10/22
Like I said, I had these, but most are gone now. I think I've still got the 10/22, the M69, and my CZ-70. At least that's what the ATF man will hear. I mean, that's the truth sir.

sorry..... but accidents require too much paperwork since my collection includes NFA items...
plus.... If it was a boating accident I would go and recover them
