Guys I realize we have all speculated about this to death, but what do you think the chances of another cheap AK version coming into the country? I personaly think its pretty good considering the market for the sar's. The only thing I could see stoping it would be the goverment?

I think the big question would be where would they come in from?

Post ban we've seen Chinese (done), Egyptian (done), Hungarian (done), Yugoslavian (done), Bulgarian (done), Romanian (almost done) and Russian (? who knows how long the Saigas will continue coming in). Doesn't leave a whole lot out there...

I suppose some of the aforementioned countries might import something fresh (except for China). Not quite sure how the politics of it all works...

As long as we're daydreaming, I'd take an R-4 if they were imported.

Personally, I think if the ban sunsets, and looks like it will stay that way at least for a while, there WILL be a country that needs the money, and WILL fill the gap.

I won't even venture a guess as to who, the surplus market is less predicatable than the stock market.

How about a US legal semi version of the AN-94?

i think the ban would have to sun set before we see the an -94 but yes that would be a great
rifle to ad to my collection
