Finished my new wasr furniture with Rit dark brown dye using steel wool to lighten the color to the shade I was looking for, then applied seven coats of Tung oil lightly steel wool between coats to and knock off the gloss leaving a final matt finish.

Took it to the range for the first time and put 90 rounds through it with out any issues.  The breeze was blowing enough where my eyes watered up so I know I didn't do my part and will wait until another time to make adjustments.  It seems the sight windage is good, I didn't try adjusting elevation and wait until a day without wind where I can focus better.
