Recently bought an AK off GunBroker and am impatiently awaiting delivery to the FFL holder Setup consists Black telescoping Tapco stock, SAW grip, G2 trigger group, and quad-rail with upper and lower picatinny rail. Receiver is NoDak Spud. I'll admit, the seller I bought it from had a few mall ninja specials, but this was his base model and wasn't all that gaudy/elaborate. I bought the rifle for $600. With the options and labor, I felt that was a fair price.

Any comments on this setup? Looking to get advice/comments from the board. Pics to follow.

If that's what you want, then good. Accesories are up to the owner. Nodak Spud makes a real good reciever.
If assembled well, with a good barrel, you'll have a nice rifle.

I keep my AKs simple and hang all the junk off the ARs. But thats just me.

You didn't give us much to go on.  You have some Tapco parts and an NDS receiver.  What country did the AK parts kit come from?  Who built the gun?  Random unknown home builder or a big name builder?

Hard to comment when there is very little information to comment on.

The rifle was built by a gunsmith at Shooter's Wholesale in Idaho. The receiver is an NDS-1, which is based of the Hungarian SA-85. I know next to nothing about that model. Not sure where the bolt and carrier and all that were made, I'll have to ask him. I'll give a link on my lunch break.
