Order has been placed for my 308. I'll put up pics when I get it.

US made Saiga rifle and shotgun fiolding stock set. No modification to your weapon is required. Stock folds left only and will clear most optical sights mounted to the Saiga's scope rail. Stock set includes: receiver block, pistol grip, folding stock mechanism, AKFX(length) stock with 1.0 recoil pad and all mounting hardware with a 1 1/4" ambi sling mount. Length of pull 12.0".

Check all local, state and federal laws before installing.

Length of pull 12.0". SiagaFS (SS)..........$185.00

Length of pull 13.0". SiagaFS (S)..........$185.00

Length of pull 14.0". SiagaFS (L)..........$185.00

and I'm gonna ask them tomorrow (before they ship) If I can get an AR stock on there insteak of the ace stock. I know the purists will hate this, but an M4 stock (in the third position) with a cherokee cheek riser would be perfect on this with my russian 308 scope......

LOOOOONG time comin'! ACE has some really cool stuff in the works according to their catalogue, but this was NOT in there! I sure hope the rear of that base will work with all their stocks, Cause I'm not so into folders. I sure do want that PG though, so It'll all be good in the end. I'll prolly have multiple stock optins.

Thanks, How do these work with all the 922 and US parts count BS or can you put one on a Saiga with no probs legal wise ???

now THAT's a good question. I couldn't tell ya. maybe I'll have to buy some internals from krebs...

Wow! I am surprised no one asked the question that Tangeant asked. Wouldn't this be illegal without the correct parts. Since the FCG is different on the Saiga's, how do we get the appropriate parts count:

1 - pistol grip
2 - stock
3 - piston
4 - ?
5 - ?
6 - ?

Yes, you would have to have the correct number of US parts. Have you thought about moving the trigger guard and relocating the PG, so you could use all three US trigger parts? It would look more like a normal AK.

I'm hesitant to convert it cause there are no hi-cap mags that'll work and it's way too long and heavy to work as a carbine....... But who knows. We'll see if I can get enough US parts without moving trigger group.

The original poster was talking about his .308, which needs 5 or 6 parts depending on muzzle attachment. The Saiga 12 has 13 parts as is, but once you add the PG you make 14.

A saiga-12 has a 14 part count naturally if it has removable chokes/threaded muzzle for devices. If you had such a one you could use the ACE stock thusly:

Pistol grip
Stock
Gas Piston
Mag floor plate

Its pretty easy to cut yourself a mag floor plate out of sheet metal and do a bit of grinding to get it to the right dimensions, then drill a hole for the locking tab. The piston is a bit harder. You could also replace the hammer instead of the piston but a standard AK hammer needs some dremel work to go on a saiga without doing the rest of the conversion.

Why???

Just do the conversion, it's simple... So much easier, looks a lot better,
