I wouldn't bother with a low cap rifle.

cant i still dremel out the mag well and convert it to hi-cap (as well as adding on some US made compliance parts)?

not cost effective?

Cost of a hi-cap WASR with one 30 rd mag, slant brake, bayonet and the lug to mount it...$329.00

Cost of low cap WASR...$229.00 plus

$7.00 cost of at least one hi-cap mag
$10.00 for a US pistol grip (1 part)
$35.00 for a US FCG (3 parts)
$20.00 for a US gas piston (1 part)

figure at least $5.00 for shipping on the compliance parts if you can get them from one dealer.

Total  $306.00

Now you have to mill out the magazine well and hope you don't screw anything up to save $23.00 (and that is a low ball figure on the compliance parts) . You also have to drill out the pin to mount the gas piston.  Of course, you could go with US mag followers and baseplates if you can get any but they have to go in every mag.  The finished product still doesn't compare to the high cap that comes with the slant brake and the bayonet, ready to go.

Nope, it cant take more than a 10 round mag. No us parts. Same thing as the saigas. lo-cap and no p-grip.
