I'm new to AKs and the one thing everybody tells me is "make sure you get quality"  yeah yeah

How are Vector Arms guns?  Does this sound like a good deal?

What do you think?

Thanks

Vector does a lot of shop work fo us, so maybe I am biased. But we love them, and their guns. Great product, the guns run great and look awesome. The company is competent as hell when it comes to gun work (they fix Toad bailey's screwed up H&K clones).

By with confidence.

Vector is quality, and you can't go wrong with Atlantic.

Thank you all for your info.  I think I am going to go ahead and order it this next week.  I've been talking to a few local gun shops and they seem to like the Vector products as well.

Does this AK have a stamped or milled receiver?

The Vector guns are nice guns and carry a 5 year warranty.  They do stand behind their products if something is wrong.  I would recommend the Vector AKs.

A Vector is what popped my AK cherry.  I absolutely love mine and would not sell it under any circumstances!!

The Vector Classic sports a stamped receiver.  Although, Vector will be getting Milled receiver AKs.  Don't know when.  You can't go wrong with the weapon you are considering.

I've got a Polish Vector underfolder coming in next week!  From Atlantic Firearms, btw.

Make sure it doesn't have a EUBANKS receiver.  And definitely go with Atlantic. My dealer ordered me three from Blaine, and all arrived safe and sound with Armory USA receivers.

BTW Blaine-I am still waiting for my receipts for these guns???????  All I got was a green envelope with nothing inside.

Really puzzled as to why you state this. I've a Vector with a Ewbanks and works fine. Besides, if they were bad I doubt a company as reputable as Vector would use them on their guns.

I hear good things about Ewbanks receivers.  My Vector will come with the Armory receiver, as I requested.  Nothing wrong with OOW, mind you.

"SigmaShooter," if you go with Atlantic, they only offer Vector weapons with OOW or Armory USA receivers.

Eubanks = JOEKING

And that is why Atlantic wants nothing to do with them (If you buy your rifle from Atlantic, it definitely will not have a Eubanks receiver)..

Disclaimer: The preceding is my opinion and belief; I do not speak for Atlantic

+1

My only complaint with my Vector Arms rifle is the mismatched parts (serial numbers on parts do not match). however the rifle is reliable and was built by professionals. I would choose a quality built rifle with mismatched parts over a poorly built rifle with matching parts any day.

Buy from Atlantic Firearms with confidence.

Is there any downside to a stamped receiver over a milled peice?

If it's a Eubanks, JOEKING, Vulcan or Hesseee there is a down side!!!

Thanks for all your help...

It kinda sucks that Atlantic is closed for the SHOT show this week or I would order the gun today.

I can't wait dammit.

I looked at a lot of AK`s before purchasing one and chose a Vector classic, I think the Vector guns offer the best value and quality for the money right now.

The Russians did not think so. Besides the stamped receiver guns are lighter in weight.
