Thanks guys. I ordered the wood from Apex, sanded them down a bit and added 3 coats of Miniwax Ebony. I didn't want them too glossy, so I added 2 coats of Miniwax semi-gloss.

you know that the brown chinese wood grop (legend series) would match that almost perfect, not correct for the yugo but would look really good.
