Anyone interested in getting together for a build party in the Fort Lauderdale area?

I have most of the tools necessary to bend tapco flats and build the complete gun.

I don't have a suitable location to do it though.
We need someone to host this at his place.

We would need some people to come who have done this before as well.

I'm still waiting for more kits to arrive (I ordered from everywhere!)

I don't think it would be good to have a huge amount of people at this thing (maybe 10-20 at the most).

Maybe we can do this in about a month or so. (The group buy for the Romanian Ak's and the Yugo ak's should be here by then).

Let's try to post here if you're interested....Maybe even mention what you could bring to the party.

If you don't have tools or expertise, maybe some beer and soda? Rivets, flats?

Tools that I have:

AK Builders flat bending jig
Plinkers rivet jig
12 Ton Press
Trigger guard rivet jig
Spot Welder (For Rails)
Buffer/grinder
Misc. Hand tools, and of course, a BFH.

Interesting idea.

Im in West Palm, but if theres any interest here I'd like to take part as well.

Ive got a pair of AMD65 kits waiting toget built and a single prebent inbound as well.  (first build figured prebent screw kit would be easier as I dont have access to welding equipment).

Anyway if theres enough interest here (plus someone having access to the proper tools) Id be interested in joining in..

..of  course I guess I'd have to order some flats first and get around to ordering compliance parts as well..

Right now there is no real "best place".

Keep an eye out in the equipment exchange.

If you're looking for an AK74, there are some around.

Otherwise, right now there's very little available.

I myself am waiting for some Romanian ak's from a group buy that started months ago.
