lol. i was wondering the same thing when i saw that news flash.
thats the number two guy in al queda , threatened britian and america.

Man, Al-Qaeda must be pretty stretched thin, if their number two guy only has a beard that's 3-4 inches long.

Where's the commitment anymore? These new Al-Qaeda goons are big pussies.

ETA: Looks like a Euro-pattern AK-74. It appears to have the Euro trunnion rivits, and the mag looks like a plastic 5.45 mag, doesn't appear to curve enough to be a 7.62 gun...

Looks like an early production of Russian sidefolder (early cos it has wood) with an added grenade launcher...

You can see the lock below the 2 rivets on the front trunnion and a Russian AK sling. It's an Russian AKS-74 probably from the Soviet-Afghan war. The Russian Spetsnaz used the AKS-74's.
With either the GP-25 or GP-30 grenade launcher underneath. Depends on which side the sight system is to determine which one it is.
