I picked up a new AK today, but I want to see if I got a good deal.  Its a preban Poly technologies AKS-762, with the circled 386 stamping and CW serial prefix.  Importer was KFS, and it comes with cleaning rod and kit, bayonet, sling, and threaded barrel (with thread protector, no brake).  Standard blonde wood furniture, and the gun is in good shape.

So, what would be the going price for these guns right now?  Thanks!

Jason,you see them from 600.00 to 850.00,If you're into it somewhere under 600.00 you're in good shape.Even if you're into it high,you're not hurt as there will not be anymore Chinese AKs imported.

Were all the 386 stamped guns imported prior to the original ban?

No..there were thumbhole stock 386 guns...386 in a circle denotes PolyTech factory. They made preban and ban guns. I paid $625 for my Poly preban 762S......from a friend....they will go as high as $900.
