Anyone have any good, simplistic ways of removing the scope plate on a SAR-1? I filed both of the outer flat heads of the rivet off, I'm just trying to figure out a way to actually push the rivets out. I know that I can re-rivet both the rear trunnion and the hole up front easily, or have it done easily, but does anyone have any good methods for pushing out the rivets?

Campy, couldn't I drill a small hole in the front rivet and progressively larger holes until the rivet basically breaks into pieces and falls out?
