1 in 9 t--ested mine myself
do this by inserting a cleaning rod with a firm fitting patch fully into the rifle mark the spot on the rod just where it exits the top of the barrel (or breech, depending on where you measure) pull the rod out, and as you do so the rod should spin as the patch engages the rifling. when the mark on the rod has made one complete rotation, mark the rod again at the same position where it now exits the barrel remove rod entirely and measure the distance between the marks, which represents one full twist of the rifling. |

My VEPR K's 16" 7.62x39 barrel has a 1 in 9" rate of twist.
