I just got a used saiga-20.  How do I tell which model I have?  The markings say 20x76 15,8 F(0,9)  The magazine says 20x70.  I am looking for more mags and need to know what to buy.

Thanks, Jon

the 76 in 20x76 is the millimeter equivalent to 3".  I have the same gun and mine will accept 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells.  the magazine you have is marked 70 which is the millimeter equivalent to 2 3/4".  your gun will accept 3" shells but your mag will only hold 2 3/4" shells.  when i first bought mine, i bought a bunch of 3" magazines.  unfortunately, after seeing how much 3" 20 gauge shells are, i quickly bought the 2 3/4" mags.    so, either 20x70mm or 20x76mm mags will work.
