The lips are heat treated, unless you take a file/grinder to them they are not going to wear out.

The whole mag is rock solid, it does not flex at all even with force applied (hand force....a tank would crush the thing).

Here check this out

I weigh 185lbs

Why do people always get their toes/feet in their pictures?

This is actually a tag for price.

That magazine needs a pad so you can rest it on the ground.

8rds are fine for me i think.

I didn't realize how crazy long that was gonna be......

Does anyone do custom barrel work?

If I got a SAIGA, I would want a 16" barrel and a welded 2" flash hider... you know, to make the barrel look shorter but still be legal. Also, who makes and sells those Saiga 12 bayo lugs? The ones that take AR-15 bayonets with a widened ring?

I think a SAIGA with a 74 style grip and buttstock, the above barrel mods and a more AK looking handgaurd would be purely awesome.

... or is there an underfolder version

How do these measure up to street sweepers? Barrel think?

Someone should def. come out with a drum, 25rounds of semiauto buckshot sends chills down my spine!

Mr. Macky Says: "Drums are bad, mmmkay, Drums might get the Saiga's flagged as a destructive device, mmmkay, just like the Street Sweepers, so always remember, Drums are Bad, mmmkay?

You know, I was scrolling up and down thinking the second one looked a lot longer than the top picture. You just made my night. Do you have any pics of the 10 round mag in a gun?
