If I'm not mistaken, SLR-95 has a single tang in the rear of the receiver.

You can still use the receiver, you just have to install the lower tang. A smith who's building up the milled kit shouldn't have a problem at all doing it.
The Russian kits are going to use threaded barrels, rather than pinned, so the Russian barrel would have to be turned down and pinned into the receiver. If you want to use a receiver for a threaded barrel, The Firing Line does one. Check out the photos of mike_f's up in the photo gallery. |
