They are as comfortable as the standard stock, at least to me, but I'm used to FN Para and Galil style stocks.
The stocks really don't have any drop to them though. I haven't shot the M7SFC, but I have shot the M7SF and I like it alot.

Templar, what's the diffence between a SF and SFC?

The SF has a standard 16" barrel with the AK-74 front sight and the Bulgarian 24mm threaded flash suppressor.
The SF-C has an AK-104 gas block/front sight, and the barrel extends out beyond that with no threads. You can chop the barrel back and install a 24mm Krink brake or flash suppressor after filing SBR paperwork. I saw an SFC at a dealer last week.. Its cool but I just can't get into that stock at all.

I think the SFC is badass, its on the buy it list, but with the laws changing here in michigan regarding class three weapons, it will have to be at the bottom of the list for now

I have one and it shoots like a dream. However, I do have two complaints:
1. The stock folding button is very tight. So much so that I have to stand it on a something and use both hands to press. 2. When the stock is folded, the lower bar of the stock makes it difficult to shoot b/c it crowds the trigger. Other than that it is a really nice rifle, definately a keeper. |

SF rules
 Full sight radius and muzzle device options... 2 days of Bulletfest shooting were fine as long as I kept the stock on my cheek fat and not the upper bone or lower jaw for umpteen mags. You have the option of pipe insulation if you need padding. For optics on top, the straight stock sets your head/eyes very well. Groups well enough to sell my Colt x39 upper. If I use the button to lock the stock open, then the button is easy to push to fold. But if I swing the stock open w/o using the button, then it is hard to press to fold. The folder DOES NOT MOVE when open, unlike many others that have some motion/vibration. |
