I've noticed that I never see any Russian made AK47's for sale. Are they that hard to get in the states, or have I just been looking in the wrong places? If I were to find one, would it be worth a lot? And just so nobody says anything, I am talking about one with a legal American reciever on it.

Theres a ban on russian imports for a bunch of stuff.  Its the reason russian SKSs command a higher price.  Also the reaons actual russian dragunovs are priced as if they are golden guns that shoot cocaine.

Its because of rarity.

Were actual russian semi auto AK-47's ever imported? I dont think so....

the Vepr and the Siagia are the only russian imports right now
