Now that Romania has joined NATO, can I assume they will be standardizing their caliber to 5.56x45?  If that's the case, will they be selling off much of their existing AK's and LMG's with perhaps more coming to the US in kit form?  I would really love to see the Cugir arsenal adopt a 7.62 NATO PSL/ROMAK-3, as long as they export it to us!

I can't remember if it was Bulgaria or Romania but one of the two appeared to be using either FN/FNC rifles or the SIG 551/552 series when I was in Kosovo (2000). I can't remember which but it wasn't the standard Warsaw pact arms you'd expect. I think their patch/flag is Yellow, Black, and Burgundy......
