these are not imported anymore so if any retailer is going to have them on the site it will be a mom and pop place that had a customer bring one in, etc

Nah...the shotgun was a diff purchase...I paid 280 for that shotgun and the thing i like about it is that it is a magnum, that means no choke!!!! |

Decent SAR-1s start for about $350. The last one I bought cost me $375+shipping and FFL, but it came with three 30 round magazines. If you ever find someone asking more than $400 for one, you might want to make sure it has some kind of special goodies or extras thrown in, i.e. trigger slap fix, mags, threaded barrel/muzzle brake installed, bayonet lug, things that woulnd't have come standard had you bought it from Century in the spring of 2003 (as I did with my first one). These things can all be done yourself, as I did with the two that I own.
