i'm thinking about buying a Romanian RPK,any thought pro and con.anyone have any experiences with these rifles,,thanks  

Do you mean the "AES-10B AK RPK TYPE SNIPER RIFLE" about 1/3 of the way down the page at Classic Arms?  

I've never heard of anyone calling any kind of RPK a "sniper rifle" - there it is, though, on Classic Arms' website.  That's the only place I've even seen one.  It appears to have no dimples and looks like a WASR with a longer barrel.

The Yugo ones look nicer to me, and I've held one of those in a local gun shop - really nice fit and finish, believe it or not (it is also made by Century like the Yugo M70s, and Century isn't known for nice fit or finish).

+1 on the Yugo RPK, much heavier and very well built....

i just picked up one all I can say is great rifle i dont think you will be disapointed
I picked my Thursday from Classic i got rid of a chicome Mak-90 to get it
not a bad  deal the only gripe is the little bit of mag wobble ant the bipode leg's
are not as long as the one that was in my kit i got 3 years ago

it still cost more to build a rommie kits than to buy the rifle

It's built on an RPK receiver, which doesn't have "dimples".

Russian RPK 7.62x39 with no dimples (Photo credit to Stottman).  I believe older RPKs had dimples and later ones didn't.... don't quote me on that.
