romak's (1 and 2) are pre-sar versions of the wasr series.

i had a 1999 import romak1 (7.62, of course) that lacked the magazine dimples because these were low capacity/single stack imports. mine was sold fitted with bulgarian furniture and required the use of usa mag followers/floorplates (only the trigger group was american made...fse in my case).

mine was nicely converted to high capacity and refinished by ohio ordnance works. two other outfits also converted them.

they hold no special collector value. i rank them as a nicely refinished wasr, myself...$300-$400 range nib.
