any body got any ideas as to what type of make this stock is ?

The Romanians did make an underfolder. It was not the typical AKM style folder but the older type of underfolder similar to those found on milled AK47s.

Sounds like the stock is mounted on one of those extensions that used to be sold by FAC/Gunsnstuff that mounted with the tang such as a wooden stock does and then the underfolder goes on the attachment. Cheesy.

guns n stuff (FAC) went out of biz in june. they are the only place i remember selling them. if you go to the k-var site and look at what they are selling as a bolt on side folder, it looked similar to that (just for an underfolder). they increase the length of pull significantly, and won't fold/unfold with a mag in place like an original would. if i were to buy it i wouldn't add any money to the buying price for that crappy under folder set-up.
