I don't see any reason why the dragunov cannot be imported other than that stupid list. it is not an assault rifle, no hi-cap mags for it, no conversion to full auto. I guess it just looks evil

I would like to see some South African R4s, Some Swiss Stg57s, PPSh41s, G36, FN Minimi, MG3, DShK, Chinese Type81s and the new bullpups...Stens and Sterlings, Brens, you name it, I want it. Beretta Model 12, MG34, MP44s from the former Yugo arsenals. They don't even have to be full-auto, I can live with semi-conversions.

A somewhat related question...

Are the Mausers marketed by Charles Daly completely manufactured at Zastava?

Zastava makes some interesting bolt guns along with their AK lineup.

remaining K43/G43 captured rifles in the Russian arsenal.  Supposedly still have upwards of 10,000.  I've been told they're waiting on a cost effective way to ship them over here.

Call me weird-- but I always wanted a FA MAS. May as well get an L85 while I'm wishing-- and a Japanese Type-Whateverthey'recalled, the modified .308. And I want Stoner 63s back too-- semi is fine with me.

And yes, things have been a bit odd here tonight. I wonder if GB is dancing with our uninvited guests from last week again? Assholes--

Actually, from what I have seen in Europe, the world civilian market is not the great as it was in the US during the 80s..

Basically just SIGs, AUGs, HK clones, Saigas/Veprs (assault versions), Chinese made guns, Romanian/Bulgarian AKs, Stery TMP semis, and thats about it.

FAMASs, FNCs, FALs, anything else cool dont seem to be in production.

Of course, once the large US market opened up, it would be on.
