I wrote to Wolf, and they responded quickly. It's much more than I expected. I have to believe that they're gonna do the best they can to make hay while the sun shines.

We are currently shipping out more 7.62x39 to our distributors and
retailers. Most distributors and retailers have accumulated many back orders
they have to fill. So please contact them for more information on when it
will be available. Towards the end of March you should see 7.62x39 in stock
for most retailers. Thank you for your inquiry and interest in WOLF

My request was general, and didn't specify a caliber at all. I don't know why they honed in on 'x39.

I'm still seein' some good news in it. Until there's joy, I'm reloading .308 and .223 and having fun making one jagged hole.

I bothered them about the 5.45 and this was the response I received...

"We will have more 5.45x39 in stock at the end of March. Thank you for your
inquiry and interest in WOLF Performance Ammunition.

Hopefully they will have enough to fill all the back orders!!!

I had my dealer contact Zanders, and they said they would be recieving two pallets of 7.62X39 at the end of March, unfortunately it has all already been allocated.

Cool - it's real when I can buy it. Currently? Wolf is literally out of business in the US.
