Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Replacing the stock on a WASR 10 quesiton

I have a WASR 10. I would like to replace the stock on it. It has a tapco collapsing stock on it. I will most likely get the same one in a different color to replace it. Is it difficult to replace the stock?

No.

Field strip the rifle.  On the rear trunnion, you'll see some screws.  Remove them.

Then pull the stock off.  It'll be on there like a mofo, so pull HARD.

I don't blame you for wanting to replace that stock.  You actually have a lot of options to replace it.
