I am not comfortable with the FCG in my SGL-21 AK. What is the best replacement. I also need a retaining plate. Best place to get them too. Thanks

I always liked the Red Star Arms two stage trigger.  Very adjustable and crisp trigger pull.  They're around $70. They have a few versions, so make sure to order the right one for your rifle.

They make a retaining plate for $4 too.

Tapco G2 for me. Don't care for Tapco products in general but for the quality you get the G2 is probably the most cost effective FCG you can buy.

I really like the RSA in my M76 and the G2s in my other rifles.  My re-worked Arsenal two stage feels very good as well.

I replaced both my 21 & 31 's with single hook tapco G2's.

Hated the Arsenal trigger group.

I'm running Tapco's new retaining plates in both rifles. So far no problems.
