I have a Mac-90 with the ugly thumbhole stock and I want to convert it. I bought an original Norinco underfolding metal stock for it, I understand I have to drill it out to mount it, is drilling out a stock receiver all that needs to be done for the mechanisem to work?

If your MAK-90 has a milled receiver, that would be all(plug the hole).

If it is a stamped receiver, you will need a rear trunion made for the UF.

Don't forget to install the legal compliance parts.  Do you have the ability to do this without ruining the rifle.  Have you built any AKs from parts kits?
