I know the hammer, trigger pin holes have to be heat treated, and the lower rails, but does anyone harden the top rails on the receiver??   (obviously after trimming but before final assembly)..  Thanks    Les

Not neccessary to heat treat the top rails . They just keep your bolt carrier running straight in line with the trunnion .
