I was looking at the "no ban" SA M-7 on their web site and was reading about it and I read that it has no bayonet lug. Why would a "no ban" AK have no bayonet lug? It's got muzzle threads and a brake but why no bayo lug?
Also why does the "no ban" SA M-7 Classic have a bayo lug but doesn't come with a brake? I don't get it.  BTW: What brake does the "no ban" SA M-7 come with? |

I dunno......there isn't a picture of the no ban "M7", but they do say no bayone lug.
There are plenty of no ban models of the SA-M7 out there, the SA-M7A1 and A1R, the SA-M7 Classic, and the SA-M7 Carbine. The A1 models have flash suppressors, the Carbine and Classic have muzzle nuts over threaded muzzles, which is correct for the earlier Bulgarian rifles. |

Thanks for the info.
It's just wierd that a "no ban" gun would have no bayo lug. It's got to be a typo. Also why would They have the threads on the muzzle and put a muzzle nut on when they could put on a hider, comp or brake? |

............'cause that's how they were issued in Bulgaria and most of the world. They are putting flash suppressors on the A1 models, because that's correct for the current issue. The threads allow you to put whichever accessory you wish on there, but they're going after the purists. |
