I took apart my SAM7 Classic and just noticed that the Handguard assembly is a bit loose, Im sure it was nice and tight before this, did I screw something up? Please advise, this is my first AK type and first time dissasembly, so Im trying to get familiar. Still havent fired it yet gonna try this weekend! thanks for any advice on the handguard!
It's the upper handguard.
Thanks Campy, I was thinking the same thing regarding bending the retainer a bit, I guess if it wont affect its performance, I wont worry about it. Its only has a little bit of play, and I wasnt sure if that was normal or If I screwed up reassembly. Thanks for the help!
