Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about standard Galil stock assembly.

SSooooooooo,

Long story short.  I am doing a FULLLLLLLL on resto of a Galil ARM from an APEX part kit.

I have the stock stripped off of the hing assembly...and before I go any further....

I noticed that the butt plate appears to be crimped onto the stock tubes.  If that is the case, I am just gonna leave it and soak, wash, blast and lightly bake the oil out of those joints.

Can anyone tell me if the butts stock is crimped?  It does NOT appear to be pinned.....at least from my current inspection.

Nevermind.. just found out the ARM stock is different from the standard ones
