I know they are "kind of" rare, but not unseen, are they worth any more than regular Chicom mags? More than $10 each?

ETA pic, as requested. Regular flatback Chicom on right, Stamped Sideplate on left.

I would like one New In Wrap, or maybe one NIW and one used in good+ condition. Anyone want to sell a pair here, or maybe just one?

I owned one last year. I think I probably got the highest sales price ever (around $50) for the one I had, during a short bit of "stamped-sideplate" mania on GunsNet.

I've heard that these are the same magazines that were included with the handfull of Type-81 rifles that were imported in the mid-1980s. They definetly aren't true AK mags, as they don't have a relief cut for the autosear on the right side.

If I were to put a stable price on it, I'd say $30 due to rarity. Any standard AK magazine is much better than these "stamped-sideplate" magazines, due to the nature of their construction. For a little more money, you could get a nice slabside mag instead.
