Price ? for SKS - AR15.COM

Hello all,

I need a little help regarding a Norinco SKS. A guy I work with is selling his unfired SKS for $225. He told me he paid $80 for it years ago. I'm interested, but not sure of the price. Would this price be considered current market value? It's in excellent condition, and gun broker seems to be all over the place when it comes to prices. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A norinco in unfired minus bayo is in that $275 to $325 range in my market.

Same here, maybe even a few bucks more. An unfired chinese rifle is worth $300.+ all day long in my book.

In the mid 80s. I paid $90 for one, but the dealer threw in a can of 550 Chinese steel core cartridges on stripper clips.

It's a good deal. I paid 300 for one about a month ago, and yours is probably in better condition. I couldn't resist though, it was too nice to pass up.

Too bad the bayonet was removed. Bought mine many years ago when they were sold with them.

Have yet to fire one of them, still has cosmoline to clean off.
