Just another day in Troy Ohio, but the President of the United States just happened to be in this neck of the woods....
Outside the front of the store waiting for his motorcade to drive by...  Getting tired....better find a tailgate to sit on....  Hey....we think he's on the way....  Cop cars....Yep....He's coming....  Okay everybody....Let's get ready to do the "wave"   We were yelling "Don't sign the AWB renewal...Don't sign the AWB renewal !!!"  Todd is the first one to notice The President standing in the front of the bus giving us the "thumbs up" (Note: I think it made his day...)  Deputy Sheriff making sure we didn't bring any SEAKs to show The President....  |

The choice has never been clearer since I've been of voting age. I have differences with Bush, but they don't even begin to compare with the issues I have with Kerry. Send the two Johns home in November.

The President is about to fly out of Toledo Express, I'm watching it on 13 ABC. They said the power went out in the high school he was speeking at in Lima, but a generator kept his mic up. Pretty cool shit.
The Toledo air show is going on right now. Its not very often that you see the Air Force Thunderbirds a few yrds away from Air Force One.  ETA, a 13 ABC news guy said a Cobra was flying with the motor cade, and circled over the air port. I know some areas of Toledo are bad, but not that bad.

Aimless...Sorry if I upset you with my feeble attempt at humor. I put the smiley face
after it, as I assumed that it would let you know it was not a serious post. Even the last pic posted says that its the sherrif making sure they didnt bring any SEAKs to show the president. Thats not that far off what I posted, but I did take it a bit further. There will be no more posts of this nature from me. I will leave humor and satire to the professionals.

Man,you just can't say things like that even in jest.Just the mere mention of something along those lines can get you an un-friendly visit from the Secret Service and greatly hinder your chances of ever passing a background check. |

THREATS AGAINST PRESIDENT - 18 USC 871, makes it a Federal crime or offense for anyone to willfully make a true threat to injure or kill the President of the United States.
A person can be found guilty of that offense only if all of the following facts are proved beyond a reasonable doubt: First: That the person uttered words alleged to be the threat against the President; Second: That the person understood and meant the words he used as a true threat; and Third: That the person uttered the words knowingly and willfully. A "threat" is a statement expressing an intention to kill or injure the President; and a "true threat" means a serious threat as distinguished from words used as mere political argument, idle or careless talk, or something said in a joking manner. The essence of the offense is the knowing and willful making of a true threat. So, if it is proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the person knowingly made a true threat against the President, willfully intending that it be understood by others as a serious threat, then the offense is complete; it is not necessary to prove that the person actually intended to carry out the threat. |

There was one at ever business along the route, although the chopper did seem to hover close by  She did come inside and ask that no customers carry out any purchases when he was close, though. The shop emptied as soon as word came that he was on the way.Mike |
