I'm Having 2 problems with 30rnd mags in my AK. 1. If I load more than 25 rounds after a round is fired the bolt hangs on the next round and will not continue forward. 2. The mag is difficult to remove I have no problems with my steel mags. Does anyone else have problems with this? Toss the poly's and buy more steel?

This

1. If it's a Tapco mag, check your spring to make sure it isn't an AR spring. This happened to a batch of their mags early on. I've had two myself.

2. Sandpaper............see where it hangs and start fitting.

You don't have to toss the polys, just think of them as 25 rd mags.  I would stick with steel mags if those work well for you.  AIM has a great price on them.

I'm guessing these are tapco mags, or some of the cheap "bulgarian" poly mags that dont have reinforced feed lips or locking lugs.

If it aint combloc, dont bother with it, imo.  If you are dead set on poly mags, get some circle 10 bulgies from k-var or a reseller.  They are the real deal.  Otherwise, stick with steel.
