Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Plastic Furniture?

I have wood butt stock and handguards on my AK-47 and I was wondering if I were to put plastic furniture on mine if it would be noticably lighter or not? I love the look of the polished wood but it just seems so damned have and kinda uncomfortable to shoot in a standing position. I was just wondering if I were to order plastic furniture for it if it would be noticably lighter. I know that it would of course absorb the recoil more. What do you guys think?here
